Tharshika Bala - 4. Who would be the audience for your media product?

Our audience are 18-30 year olds as this is the average age of thriller fans. The reason for this age group is because of explicit scenes of drug use. It should be distributed where our target audience will be able to know what film it is e.g. YouTube, which is a wide network where our audience will be able to recognise our product, allow making comments, subscribe and share. We are targeting both genders because I have found that women enjoy thrillers, which widens our audience. We wanted to base our film around our target audience and we were able to make some practical decisions concerning the production of our film; including decisions on the mise en scene and camera angles we used.
