Our media treatments

Our first treatment idea
After school hours an intruder breaks into Burntwood School threatening the students and teachers. This experience leads a group of 20 people, all students, staff and cleaners fearing for their lives. In the student’s teenage years they did rebellious, things including taking drugs, smoking and truanting and were all on a present stage of being kicked out of school due to their bad behaviour. After this experience they were too scared to act in any bad way possible. Till this day they try their ultimate best to be “angel like”, they all currently live life in a different way. They look behind themselves wherever they walked, they made sure they were home before it got dark, they never got angry. This one event scarred their life forever but one thing they could never ever do was mention what happened on that day 20 years ago, no one knows why or what was holding them back but they wouldn’t ever even mention this night and this is what made it even more mysterious. They now have separate lives acting as if everything is normal but still have a deep fear in them from the time since they were in school.

Our second treatment idea
To celebrate the success of their exams 3 teenagers aim to spend the weekend at an abandoned school and have the trip of a lifetime. However not everything is as it seems. One by one the teenagers are going missing, but are they actually disappearing or is it just the drugs? It is up to [blah] to either find his friends and save the day or save himself and find a way out.

Our third idea
Since it’s founding in 1986 Burntwood secondary school has been safe, secure and accident free. That is until this week. Strange goings on have been happening, students have been going missing and not everything is as it seems. Locked in the school by an unidentified presence, sixth form student [Insert name] finds himself in a battle of wits, bravery and mental strength - fighting not only for a way out of the school, but also for his life.

  2. I am going to vote for the second treatment because it has a good storyline.
It would be easy to make a great trailer using this idea.

  3. We have decided to use the second treatment as it will be easier to shoot, as it allows us to use the same people in our opening as the main characters in our first and treatment we have to find actors/actresses who are similar looking to act for the reason that there is time shift from the youth's teenage years to adult life, which will be hard to find. We must also change the scene to make it seem as if years has pass which would be quite difficult to do.
